Wonderful piece. While curation is probably highly subjective, I do agree with you that something is very wrong with the overall discussion about this topic. Somehow the narrative that Israel is engaging in genocide is presented as factual when, not only are the facts not confirmed, but the facts that are show otherwise.

I got sick of this, and wrote about it (link below) and almost all the commenters who disagree with me, with the exception of maybe one, have responded with insults, over and over. I happen to not care in the slightest, because I know what I wrote was correct. But I find it indicative of an atmosphere in which people feel emboldened to be trolls -- which is not the point of Medium, and makes you wonder if this is the one subject they feel entitled to be awful about.

You're also right about a lot of fact-free analysis, which should cause us to worry about a lot more than the conflict in Gaza. Hang in there.
