The mean-spirited nature of this isn’t about whether you “support” her. I haven’t donated either. This is mean spirited because you target one person, and one person only and that person happens to be suffering. Whether you like her, or agree with her, doesn’t change the fact that another human is in pain, and there’s no good reason to add to that.
