Thank you so much for writing this and I'm so sorry about your Dad. I'm (at 50) at the age when lots of people's parents are dying and usually it's after some type of illness so we have time to acclimate. But to have it happen suddenly? Heartbreaking.

I wrote this in December, and he ultimately didn't die, even though I really thought he was on his way out. I've wondered if I should keep this story up because i wrote it so sure he would, and then he didn't, but I'm glad I did because it sounds like it resonated.
