She lost me too, in part because she doesn't "pay more." Our premiums are what they are because of the insanity of health care costs, but she doesn't pay higher premiums than anyone else. Perhaps she's trying to say that she uses fewer resources than an overweight person, but if that's the metric, then I "pay more" than women who have chosen to have a baby or fertility treatments. Makes no sense.
