My point in this piece was that with the rise of the body-positive movement, it's no longer cool to comment on larger bodies in a negative way. Lizzo is part of that and should be commended for that. I'm not talking about random incel trolls, nor am I talking about the medical community, which continues to shame "fat" people. I am talking about a very specific thing: that there is something about boobs that makes people feel commenting is still fair game.

As for falling apart, that's the point. I wanted to be honest about how this made me feel. I don't think I said that I had turned into an automaton as I aged.
