I did. You seem to be hanging your hat on the idea that that the doctors would refuse to comply with a subpoena because of HIPAA, and that the Texas judges would not issue court orders.

Even well-meaning doctors don't want to be in contempt of court. As for the Texas judges, I can't see why we should have any confidence that they wouldn't issue court orders, or that they would quash subpoenas.

Simply put, HIPAA has exceptions for court orders and subpoenas. You're just more than I am that these exceptions will be blocked.
