As far as I know, Jordan Peterson has NEVER said that people can overcome addiction by “sheer will.” You may have an issue with his writing/messages/theories— many do, including me — but mischaracterizing him doesn’t help. Of course, if he HAS said that addiction can be overcome by sheer will power, I apologize in advance.

The way I understand his writings, recognizing the problem and getting help (which he did, although unconventionally) would fall under his “clean your room” theory. What am I missing?
